Primary course:

According to SPC
1st vaccination: from 8 months (5 months in UK) of age.
2nd vaccination: 4 weeks later

Additional published studies (LINK to efficacy data shown above): 3rd vaccination 3 months after the 2nd increases protection significantly1 (Robinson m.fl., 2020, Vaccine) *1.

Re-vaccination

Data for prolonged clinical protection from the administration of single dose revaccinations are currently not available. However, IdeE activity is still neutralized 6 months after 2nd vaccination2 (Righetti et al., submitted) and an immunological memory response is maintained for up to 12 months after primary vaccination (Robinson m.fl. 2020) *1.

In horses at high risk, according to SPC, it is recommended to repeat the primary course after 2 months post-last vaccination

Administration

Administer one dose (2 ml) by intramuscular injection.

Storage

Store and transport refrigerated (2 °C – 8 °C). Do not freeze. Keep the vial in the outer carton in order to protect from light
